Dayton Liederkranz Dayton Ohio

From Cincinnati….I- I-75 North to 35 East.

Exit at Keowee street and turn left.

Get in right lane and turn right at the light (5^th street).

Turn right at the next street and the Liederkranz is on the left at the corner.

Alternate Directions during construction

· I-75 North from Cincinnati

· take 35 east to ludlow/perry

· drive south to stewart

· one block east to main and you are there

· 1043 S. Main Street

· The stewart street bridge has been blown up for replacement. You can still take the Dayton Arena exit but will be detoured north to the Washington street bridge cross the river and then drive south same as first instructions.

One other option to take 75 to 675

· then east 675 toward Columbus,

· take kettering exit to route 48 north bound all the way to Dayton

· becomes main street and the Fairgrounds.

7 I-74 West to Exit 149 (Batesville / Oldenburg)

· Turn Right off the exit. This will put you onto IN-229.

· Stay on IN-229 for about 3 miles and when you start going down a hill, you will be entering Oldenburg.

At the bottom of the hill, you will see "The Village Store (DerKleinstadt Laden)" on the right side.

· Turn right at the Village Store (This will still be IN-229)

· At the next stop sign, you will see Holy Family Church on the right corner.

· Turning right at this stop sign will take you to Freudenfest.

You will not, however, be able to park there. You will need to go straight (or left) at the stop sign to find parking

Germania Park & German Club 3529 West Kemper Rd

From I-75 in Cincinnati....Take 275 West

Take the Colerain (Rt.27) exit off I-275 in Cincinnati,

North on Colerain (Rt.27)

Take Kemper Rd exit on the Right

Right off exit onto West Kemper Rd.

Road twists and turns for a couple of miles, look for Germania Park on the right.

Take the Hamilton/Ross exit and turn RIGHT (North/East) on Rt. 128 toward Hamilton. (It is 5 miles from I-275 to this exit.)

Travel Rt. 128 for 3 1/2 miles and look to your left for the Liberty Home Association. (Just past a Marathon gas station on the LEFT and You'll see SKYVIEW "Self-Storage" across the street)

(You cannot see the Club itself from the road. You will see the sign, go through an iron gate and climb a hill to get to the Club. )

Cross Railroad tracks and turn RIGHT at the Café

This road becomes a “country road” and passes a trailer park

Come to a stop sign (Spade Rd) and go straight through it (after you stop, of course)

Vear LEFT at the “Y” in the road

Approx. 1 ½ miles on the LEFT is St. Nicholas Church

Troy-Hayner Cultural Center, Troy Ohio

Troy is approx. 30 miles North of Dayton Ohio on I-75. Take the Troy/Covington exit (#74) and head East into Troy. The Troy-Hayner Cultural Center is an Historic Home and will be on the Left as you approach town. Parking is available at meters on the streets surrounding the Hayner Center.

Upland Brewery, Bloomington Indiana

I-74 toward Indianapolis (West)

At Greensburg, take 46 to Columbus/Nashville and continue on 46 to Bloomington

46 becomes 3^rd st….remain on 3^rd into Bloomington until Walnut street and turn RIGHT

LEFT on 11^th st. ….Upland Brewery is approx. 3 blocks down on the RIGHT

(From the NORTH)….

I-75 SOUTH , exit #12 (Reading/Lockland) (Tight, 15 m.p.h. ramp…be careful!!)

RIGHT at Stop Sign onto South Cooper

Straight thru the 1^st Light until you reach the 1^st stop sign, which is Bacon Street…turn LEFT

At next stop sign, continue straight into Gardner Park.

(From the SOUTH)

I-75 North to exit #13 (Shepherd Lane). LEFT at the red light at the end of the ramp

Next street LEFT onto West Forrer until you reach Bacon Street

RIGHT onto Bacon st…..thru 2 stop signs and straight into Gardner Park
